International Dance, Music & Song Festival
Destination: Batumi & Kobuleti, Georgia
Date: August 2-6, 2026
Batumi, the vibrant capital of Adjara, is a destination that uniquely balances cosmopolitan energy with the tranquility of nature, offering visitors two completely different experiences in a single city.
The first thing that impresses is the city’s architectural paradox. Walking along the famous seaside Boulevard, one of Europe’s longest promenades, the traveler sees history conversing with the future. The Old Town, with its cobblestone streets, European squares (such as Piazza), and Belle Époque buildings, gives way to a futuristic skyline filled with skyscrapers and bold contemporary sculptures, such as the “Ali & Nino” statue. It is a vibrant city that never sleeps and strongly resembles modern Western metropolises.
However, just a few kilometers away from the urban landscape, the scenery dramatically changes thanks to the “Green Cape” (Mtsvane Kontskhi). Here stands the Batumi Botanical Garden, one of the most significant in the world. Due to the region’s unique subtropical microclimate, this garden resembles an earthly paradise where lush vegetation from every corner of the planet – from the Himalayas to South America – descends amphitheatrically until it touches the waves of the Black Sea, offering scenes of rare natural beauty.
